Born along the San Bernardinoline in California and raised between Southern California and South Texas, she grew upbetween cultures, rhythms, and storiesmariachi on her dads stereo, West Coast soulin her headphones, and notebooks full of poetry in her backpack. Music wasnt the plan,but life had other ideas. A chance run-in with an aging soul singer changed everythinghe saw something in her, and she leaned in.
