Doors open at 6 p.m. Audiences can arrive early to enjoy a performance by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band on the Plaza, the 6:30 p.m. Pre-Concert Talk with Eckart Preu, and The 3rd Space, a welcoming spot in the lobby to grab a drink, meet new people and connect with fellow music lovers. The Marine Band will also join the orchestra onstage for a special performance of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Eckart Preu, conductor Grammy Award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey Smith - Star Spangled Banner Copland - Fanfare for the Common Man Chanda Dancy, Avner Dorman, Zhou Tian, Enrico Chapela, and Mark O?Connor - Visions of Humanity & Unity - 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence: Southern California premiere. Each composer drew inspiration from a phrase of the Declaration of Independence, bringing a distinct cultural and musical perspective to the work.
