Songs From Sondheim

Songs From Sondheim is an intimate concert-style revue celebrating the artistry and legacy of musical theater composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Over a legendary seven-decade career, Sondheim composed music and/or lyrics for 20 full-length stage musicals. His acclaimed works include West Side Story, Company, Sweeney Todd and Into the Woods, earning multiple Tony, Grammy and Academy awards. This production showcases favorite Sondheim songs written for the stage, television and film, featuring both emerging and established performers from across the Valley. The production follows Scottsdale Old Town Theatre Company's previous presentations of It's a Wonderful Life (radio play by Joe Landry), Love Letters by A.R. Gurney and the original musical revue Songs From Film.
