Hailed by Guitar World as "among the most inspiring southpaws to ever pick up a six-string" and dubbed Chicago's next great ambassador of electric blues by the Chicago Sun-Times, Toronzo Cannon is a ten-time Blues Music Award nominee and one of the genre's most electrifying modern masters. The former CTA bus driver turned international blues star has topped year-end lists in MOJO magazine and drawn rave praise from peers like Gary Clark, Jr. and Joe Bonamassa. Featuring blistering fretwork, soulfully authoritative vocals, and deeply personal, truth-telling original songs, Cannon delivers a hard-grinding, emotionally charged live performance showcasing material from his acclaimed Alligator Records album, Shut Up & Play!.
