The CubaNOLA Arts Collective alongside NOLAxNOLA present two stellar performances and an afterparty. A rising star of the next generation of Cuban jazz musicians, Davisito Navarro has performed with leading artists in Cuban music and salsa, including Emilio Morales, Bellita y su Jazztumbatá, El Niño y la Verdad, and José Alberto , "rdquo" -> El Canario." Since moving to New Orleans in 2023, he has become a familiar presence on the city's music scene, performing with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Charlie and the Tropicales, Mariachi Jalisco, Alexey Marti & AfroGumbo, and Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra. Yissy Garcia is one of Cuba's most exciting and innovative percussionists.
